Carrots in Onion Sauce

Yield: Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

Add finely chopped onion to shopping list 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

Add oil to shopping list 2 tablespoons oil

Add diced carrots, cooked and drained to shopping list 2 cups diced carrots, cooked and drained

Add Pet Evaporated Milk to shopping list 1/3 cup Pet Evaporated Milk

Add salt to shopping list 1/4 teaspoon salt

Add Few grains pepper to shopping list Few grains pepper

Directions:

Cook onion in hot oil over medium heat until tender. Stir in carrots, evaporated milk, salt, and pepper. Cook over low heat stirring gently until sauce coats the carrots and is slightly thickened. Serve hot.
