Baked Barbecued Brisket
Ingredients
1 teaspoon onion salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 (3- to 4-pound) beef brisket, fat trimmed to 1/8-inch thick
½ cup barbecue sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
½ teaspoon liquid smoke
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Directions
1 In a small bowl, stir together onion salt, garlic powder and celery salt. Thoroughly rub mixture all over and into meat.
2 In another small bowl, stir together barbecue sauce, ketchup, liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce.
3 Evenly brush barbecue sauce all over brisket. Wrap brisket in heavy-duty foil, place in a roasting pan, then chill for 8 hours.
4 Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
5 Bake brisket until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest portion registers 190 degrees, about 5 hours.
6 Let brisket stand for 10 minutes before cutting across the grain into thin slices.
