Lowe’s Announces Goal of 100% Cage-Free Eggs by 2025

Lowe’s Market recently announced that it is committed to buying only cage-free eggs by the end of 2025 based on the availability of supply within its market. The Littlefield Texas based, family owned supermarket chain, decided to join a growing group of food retailers, food manufacturers, and restaurant chains that have announced similar plans. The Lowe’s family of supermarkets is committed to working with suppliers during this transition to ensure availability of product, safe production, and affordability for our customers. This transition period will help assure that our suppliers have ample time to meet the growing demands for this portion of our business.
